<br \/><span class=\"nasb-indented-verse\"><\/span><sup>5<\/sup>\u00a0Then you will discern the fear of the L<span class=\"small-caps\">ORD<\/span> <br \/><span class=\"nasb-indented-break\"><\/span>And discover the knowledge of God. <br \/><span class=\"nasb-indented-verse\"><\/span><sup>6<\/sup>\u00a0For the L<span class=\"small-caps\">ORD<\/span> gives wisdom; <br \/><span class=\"nasb-indented-break\"><\/span>From His mouth <em>come<\/em> knowledge and understanding. <br \/><span class=\"nasb-indented-verse\"><\/span><sup>7<\/sup>\u00a0He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; <br \/><span class=\"nasb-indented-break\"><\/span><em>He is<\/em> a shield to those who walk in integrity, <br \/><span class=\"nasb-indented-verse\"><\/span><sup>8<\/sup>\u00a0Guarding the paths of justice, <br \/><span class=\"nasb-indented-break\"><\/span>And He preserves the way of His godly ones. <br \/><span class=\"nasb-indented-verse\"><\/span><sup>9<\/sup>\u00a0Then you will discern righteousness and justice <br \/><span class=\"nasb-indented-break\"><\/span>And equity <em>and<\/em> every good course. <br \/><span class=\"nasb-indented-verse\"><\/span><sup>10<\/sup>\u00a0For wisdom will enter your heart <br \/><span class=\"nasb-indented-break\"><\/span>And knowledge will be pleasant to your soul; <br \/><span class=\"nasb-indented-verse\"><\/span><sup>11<\/sup>\u00a0Discretion will guard you, <br \/><span class=\"nasb-indented-break\"><\/span>Understanding will watch over you, <br \/><span class=\"nasb-indented-verse\"><\/span><sup>12<\/sup>\u00a0To deliver you from the way of evil, <br \/><span class=\"nasb-indented-break\"><\/span>From the man who speaks perverse things; <br \/><span class=\"nasb-indented-verse\"><\/span><sup>13<\/sup>\u00a0From those who leave the paths of uprightness <br \/><span class=\"nasb-indented-break\"><\/span>To walk in the ways of darkness; <br \/><span class=\"nasb-indented-verse\"><\/span><sup>14<\/sup>\u00a0Who delight in doing evil <br \/><span class=\"nasb-indented-break\"><\/span>And rejoice in the perversity of evil; <br \/><span class=\"nasb-indented-verse\"><\/span><sup>15<\/sup>\u00a0Whose paths are crooked, <br \/><span class=\"nasb-indented-break\"><\/span>And who are devious in their ways; <br \/><span class=\"nasb-indented-verse\"><\/span><sup>16<\/sup>\u00a0To deliver you from the strange woman, <br \/><span class=\"nasb-indented-break\"><\/span>From the adulteress who flatters with her words; <br \/><span class=\"nasb-indented-verse\"><\/span><sup>17<\/sup>\u00a0That leaves the companion of her youth <br \/><span class=\"nasb-indented-break\"><\/span>And forgets the covenant of her God; <br \/><span class=\"nasb-indented-verse\"><\/span><sup>18<\/sup>\u00a0For her house sinks down to death <br \/><span class=\"nasb-indented-break\"><\/span>And her tracks <em>lead<\/em> to the dead; <br \/><span class=\"nasb-indented-verse\"><\/span><sup>19<\/sup>\u00a0None who go to her return again, <br \/><span class=\"nasb-indented-break\"><\/span>Nor do they reach the paths of life. <br \/><span class=\"nasb-indented-verse\"><\/span><sup>20<\/sup>\u00a0So you will walk in the way of good men <br \/><span class=\"nasb-indented-break\"><\/span>And keep to the paths of the righteous. <br \/><span class=\"nasb-indented-verse\"><\/span><sup>21<\/sup>\u00a0For the upright will live in the land <br \/><span class=\"nasb-indented-break\"><\/span>And the blameless will remain in it;
